I enjoyed hearing Kim talk about the differences between the culture at Starbucks, Amazon and Microsoft. I found it interested that the way she described their internal cultures was very similar to their public persona. I feel like these internal cultures are demonstrated through each companies business model.

I appreciated Kim’s knowledge of each business. As Marty said, Kim had the “trifecta” of Seattle jobs.  She has worked for some of the largest companies in the City, each with an international presence, and succeeded at all three. That is extremely impressive, and her humility was equally impressive. Kim’s attitude of humble success was an excellent representation of the trip to Seattle as a whole.
